Lily is an NCTJ qualified freelance journalist who works for a range of international newspapers, magazines and websites including The Times, The Telegraph, Daily Mail, The Guardian, Huffington Post and Market Harborough & Rutland Living Magazine.
She previously worked in the regional press as a health reporter, news desk assistant and features editor. Her work as a journalist has sent her to Bosnia, Vietnam, USA and across Europe.

Lily ran the features department of the Northampton Chronicle & Echo daily newspaper and was responsible for managing a team of writers, co-ordinating photographers and liaising with designers.
She also produced entertainment and special edition supplements, wrote news investigations, consumer articles, lifestyle content, travel pieces, health reports and film, theatre, food and music reviews.
Part of her work included the use of multimedia including photography and online video. She was also responsible for the Content Management System of the features section of the website.
As one of the first journalists to be trained in video production at Johnston Press, Lily was able to use her digital skills in Ghana to produce a series of print and online features including video, text and photographic content.
