Lily is an NCE qualified journalist who has worked for the regional press as a health reporter, news desk assistant and features editor.
She also has a catalogue of freelance work for international magazines and websites. Her work as a journalist has sent her to Bosnia, Vietnam, USA and across Europe.

Feature writing and multimedia skills
Lily ran the features department of the Northampton Chronicle & Echo daily newspaper and was responsible for managing a team of writers, co-ordinating photographers and liaising with designers.
She also produced entertainment and special edition supplements, wrote news investigations, consumer articles, lifestyle content, travel pieces, health reports and film, theatre, food and music reviews.

Part of her work included the use of multimedia including photography and online video. She was also responsible for the Content Management System of the features section of the website.
As one of the first journalists to be trained in video production at Johnston Press, Lily was able to use her digital skills in Ghana to produce a series of print and online features including video, text and photographic content. Lily as continued this work on a freelance basis working for a wider network of publication. See here.
