As Communications Manager for the IAIP Lily Canter has a range of responsibilities including writing press releases, responding to enquiries, writing newsletters, updating/developing the website, setting up and managing social media accounts and writing special feature articles. The IAIP is an international organisation linking the research and practices of academics, police, lawyers and other professionals around the world.
Sustrans Connect 2
Lily is a media consultant for the Northamptonshire cycling charity and designed their current cycling leaflet which is being rolled out across the region. Click here to view the leaflet. She also ran their Northampton public art campaign in the local press and on BBC radio and designed the website: www.connect2northampton.wordpress.com
The Art of Wood
This small bespoke furniture business based in Northampton has been working with Lily since it initial set up in 2007. Lily was initially approached to design and update the website and now writes newsletters and press releases for the company whilst also managing its social media networks.
Freed UK
Freed UK is a British health and education charity which works in a remote rural area in upper west Ghana. Lily is their official press officer and travels to Nandom to report on the progress of the charity. Lily's coverage of the work of FREED UK has appeared in 7 regional newspapers across the UK, BBC Health Online and Third Sector magazine. Lily also promotes the charity on local BBC radio stations. Film Northants
A community film festival founded and chaired by Lily Canter which relies on widespread publicity throughout Northamptonshire on a variety of platforms including newspapers, magazines, websites and radio. See the event management page for more details.
